Helpdesk and Policies

There are lots of opportunities to get support throughout the Summer School.

On Campus

While you are on campus, the PARTNERS team and three of our student reps will be operating an in-person helpdesk each day of the summer school. You can access this between 09:00 - 17:00. The helpdesk is located on campus. You'll also find registration and the travel expenses desk to claim back local metro/bus/train tickets.

Contact us by phone and email

If you would like to speak to a member of the team via telephone, you can contact us during office hours on 0191 208 6094.

There will be a dedicated helpdesk phone number for online and on campus support. We will circulate this via email and on Canvas in time for your first day of the PARTNERS Academic Summer School.

There will be plenty of support during your online days of PASS via our virtual helpdesk. Contact us via the email address below and we'll aim to get back to you within 24 hours. It is available in the run-up to the summer school, right through until after results day.

Canvas help and support

If you have any questions about the Canvas platform, such as access or technological issues, you can contact the Canvas Support Team.

Please enter your email address as @newcastle.ac.uk when prompted when you access this feature.

Policies & procedures

A range of policies & procedures are in place to ensure that PASS runs smoothly and attendees are safe during the event.

Child Protection

All staff members involved in the summer school must adhere to a comprehensive Child Protection Policy and The Child Protection Statement.
