The Educational Policy and Governance Service is responsible for supporting and facilitating a number of areas of academic governance.

Newcastle University's academic governance structures include key decision-making bodies responsible for the educational strategy, committees with oversight of academic quality and standards, and academic bodies which implement these educational policies and procedures.
