About EPGS

What we do

The Educational Policy and Governance Service are a part of Student Services.

We work in partnership with colleagues and students to develop and implement the University's educational policies, ensure the quality and standards of our educational provision, and enhance the student learning experience.

The service has responsibility for academic governance, including University Education Committee, it's sub-committees and Cross-Faculty Education Committee, quality assuurance processes, developing and renewing educational partnerships, and student voice activity including internal and external student surveys.

The team is also responsible for the maintenance of programme data in SAP, return of course data to the Student Loans Company, the MOFS Database, Module Catalogue, and the external examiners database.
