Dr Colin Campbell is Registrar at Newcastle University and is responsible for the leadership and management of a broad range of professional services in support of education and research.
Colin joined Newcastle University in 2016 as Director of Strategic Planning and was responsible for supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of the University's Vision and Strategy. He is a member of the Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA), and is also a member of the UUK/JISC content negotiation strategy group and a panel member of the QS academic advisory board.
Colin is also a trustee of the Southern Universities Management Services (SUMS) Group and serves on the Membership Committee as a director. He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Edinburgh and has previously worked in local government and at the universities of Stirling and St Andrews.
