Jackie Scott has strategic responsibility for developing the University’s approach to leading and developing our people agenda whilst supporting the implementation of the vision and strategy. Jackie leads the People Services team, which includes People Operations & Systems, Business Partnering, Recruitment, and People Engagement and Culture.
Jackie joined the University in November 1994 and has held several roles including Business Partner and Head of People Operations. Prior to joining the University Jackie worked for AMEC Offshore focusing on recruitment, workforce planning and employee relations.
Jackie’s track record is about leading and delivering change across a range of strategic HR initiatives with a strong focus on employee relations, strategic partnering, succession planning, reward and employment law. This is achieved by working with senior organisational leaders to deliver organisational goals through people.
Jackie has a PgD in Human Resource Management and is a qualified member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
