Dr Robert Teoh

Robert Teoh qualified in Medicine in Newcastle in 1971 and trained in Neurology in Newcastle and London. After a Medical Research Council Fellowship at the Hammersmith Hospital, London and academic posts at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Robert joined the bio-pharmaceutical industry in 1989, based in Asia, Switzerland, and the USA. Robert then founded three pan-Asian clinical contract research organizations, each of which he sold as profitable and growing concerns. He is currently a board member of ExoCyte Therapeutics, an oncology drug development company, and previously sat on the board of the Institute of Molecular & Cell Biology (the premier biomedical research institute in Singapore), and on advisory committees of Singapore’s Economic Development Board, and National Science & Technology Board.

Robert is married with two daughters; Trish, his wife is also a graduate of Newcastle University.
