How would you describe your time at Newcastle University?

Mind-blowing and magical, inspiring and intense, fulfilling and unforgettable. I really enjoyed the international spirit.

To have like-minded museum-lovers from different places of the world and interdisciplinary backgrounds was truly inspiring.

What skills and knowledge have you found useful in your career?

I work in a museum as an exhibition curator and I also still conduct a lot of museum studies research. My time at ICCHS was the starting point for both practical and research sides of my career.

Did your degree help you find work in the sector?

My degree in museum studies was one of the reasons I got hired at DASA in 2013.

What advice would you give to students starting the course now?

Especially when you come from abroad and you don't know what to expect: Don't worry, you'll be welcome!
