Your Student Support Services
There may be times when you need extra support - and that’s completely normal. If you have a question or problem, please ask for help as soon as you need it.
Academic support
The University offers a range of academic support services.
Personal Tutor: Undergraduate and postgraduate taught programme students are assigned a personal tutor. You should contact your personal tutor if you have personal difficulties that may affect your attendance or academic work.
Supervisor: Postgraduate research students should contact their supervisor(s) or the Doctoral College for support.
Peer Mentor: Every new undergraduate is assigned a Peer Mentor. Their role is to welcome you to the University and help you transition smoothly into your programme. Learn what to expect and how to make the most of this scheme.
