Sandra Hyslop, a TASS scholar mentored by Newcastle University and a student at Queen Elizabeth High School, Hexham, made it a double gold at this years Wild Water Racing Junior Championships in Valtellina, Italy.

Students Receive Sport Newcastle Trust Fund Awards
Six Newcastle University students have each received Sport Newcastle Trust Fund awards to the value of £350. The awards are in recognition of the outstanding seasons that each athlete has had and aims to help them to progress to the next level of their sport.
