Working with Industry
Industrial Advisory Boards
We have several Industrial Advisory Boards (IABs). They inform the content and delivery of School of Computing degree programmes by consultation.
The boards comprise:
- senior executives from digital and tech businesses based in this region, nationally and internationally
- representative Computing Science alumni of the School now working in industry
The IABs meet either two or three times per year. They are consulted principally about:
- emerging priorities from industry
- skills, knowledge and attributes businesses require in their workforce
- mutually interesting themes for research collaboration
