Industrial Advisory Boards

We have several Industrial Advisory Boards (IABs). They inform the content and delivery of School of Computing degree programmes by consultation.

The boards comprise:

  • senior executives from digital and tech businesses based in this region, nationally and internationally
  • representative Computing Science alumni of the School now working in industry

The IABs meet either two or three times per year. They are consulted principally about:

  • emerging priorities from industry
  • skills, knowledge and attributes businesses require in their workforce 
  • mutually interesting themes for research collaboration
