Dr Clara Crivellaro

Research Fellow

Background

I am a Human-Computer Interaction researcher. My work centres on the design of digital tools and socio-technical processes to support social justice and democratic practices. I have over 10 years of academic and practitioner experience of conducting cross-disciplinary interaction design research and community engagement with industry and public and third sector organisations.   I am currently leading a UKRI funded national Network (not-equal.tech)—that aims to foster new collaborations between academia, industry, and public and third sectors organisations, in order to develop practical responses to issues of social justice in the design and implementation of new and emerging technologies in the Digital Economy. I currently supervise seven PhD students part of the EPSRC Doctoral Training Center on Digital Civics.
