Dr Marie Devlin

Associate Dean (Undergraduate) SAgE Faculty


I have worked in the School of Computing since 2005, starting as a Teaching Fellow on the HEFCE funded Centre for Excellence in Learning project: Active Learning in Computing. I was appointed to Lecturer in 2012. I am a Senior Fellow of the HEA and became the Director of Education for the School in 2017. I was appointed Senior Lecturer in 2018 and Associate Dean (Undergraduate) SAgE Faculty in January 2019.

Areas of expertiseSoftware Engineering Competency, Technology Enhanced Learning, Assessment and Feedback in Computing, Computer Science teaching in Schools.
