Background

My role is to:

 

• Raise awareness of NICRE and our work to foster rural enterprise
• Manage all aspects of NICRE communications - internally with our founding university partners, and externally via our website, social media channels and interactions with the media
• Build relationships with NICRE’s wide range of partners
• Oversee the publication of Research and State of Rural Enterprise Reports

 

Background

Before joining NICRE in January 2021, I was a reporter and sub-editor on a local newspaper in rural Northumberland and worked for more than a decade in communications in the NHS.
