The Cameron Gifford Lecture is an endowed annual public lecture on an agriculture (broadly defined) theme.
This year’s lecture was delivered on 25th November 2025 by Sarah-Jane Laing, Chief Executive of Scottish Land and Estates, entitled: “The changing dynamics between landlords and tenants, and between communities and rural business.”
The next seminar will take place on 28th January 2026 at 12:00 pm in AGRB 3.05. Caroline Westwood, Senior Lecturer in Event Management at Sheffield Hallam University, will present a seminar on ‘Agricultural Shows: Exploring connectivity, people, place, and emotions.’
