New faces and roles

The Centre for Rural Economy is welcoming fresh talent this year, with the appointment of two new Research Fellows who will help shape its work on rural issues. Founded in 1991 in memory of the University Chancellor, the Duke of Northumberland, the Centre has long combined a dedicated Chair with Research Fellowships supported by generous donors. While funding has not always allowed all posts to be filled, the arrival of these new colleagues marks an exciting moment—bringing new ideas, energy and perspectives to the Centre’s research community.
