What future for agri-business post Brexit?

Whatever agreements are eventually forged, Brexit clearly means that the Common Agricultural Policy will no longer apply, WTO tariffs on food and drink exports would have serious implications and there could be shortages of seasonal labour if there is no free movement of workers.  These challenges were all up for discussion on 9 November 2016 at the Northern Farming Conference. Professor Emeritus David Harvey reports on the conference in our CRE blog and shares some of his own ideas for policy following the referendum vote to leave the EU.
