I am an Educational Governance Manager working in the Educational Policy and Governance Service, part of Student Services.  I support quality assurance processes (Learning and Teaching Reviews, External Examiners overview reports, Educational partnerships,…) and policy writing.

I take the lead on Student Voice and am also secretary to the Taught Programmes Sub-Committee (TPSC).

Background

I have worked in an international higher education context for over 10 years. My previous job was as a Quality Assurance Adviser at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). This role also allowed me to develop and give workshops on pedagogical topics such as learning outcomes, reliable and valid assessments, rubrics, and internationalization of the curriculum.

I hold a PhD in literature from Ghent University, Belgium, and taught an undergraduate course in narratology for three years.
