Newcastle welcomes Nigerian students

Newcastle University has a strong connection to Nigeria which stretches back many years. We have been welcoming Nigerian students to our campus for decades and have strong relationships with funding agencies such as PTDF and TETFund.

Our world leading research into global challenges such as food security, sustainable energy, education and global health, translates into academic courses which are almost tailor-made for Nigerian students.

Such is our reputation that organisations compete to recruit our graduates. We have one of the highest graduate employment rates in the UK and are one of the most targeted universities by employers. Our graduates are in demand.

Our location means that students enjoy a low cost of living compared to other parts of the UK. Newcastle is cost effective, safe, and famously friendly.
