Social and Cultural Engagement

We want to make sure you settle in to your new university-life and enjoy the beautiful city of Newcastle and surrounding regions

At the Business School we welcome students from 94 different nationalities so there is no better time for you to make new friends and meet people from all over the world.

During the year we put on cultural trips to showcase a few of the great things the UK has to offer! Trips include Edinburgh Christmas Markets, the Lake District and Alnwick Water Gardens. Explore the North East and surrounding regions with our Social Programme: make friends, create memories, and have fun!

BUSINESS SCHOOL SOCIAL

Societies and groups

From debating to DJing, finance or baking, our Students’ Union has a wide range of societies you can join, here are some of the Business related societies and groups

Want to meet like-minded people, and fill your social calendar with some great events? Join one one of the Business School related societies! Several societies may relate to your programme of study, giving you the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded students with a common academic interest. If you can't find a society you think should exist, feel free to set one up! More information about societies can be found on the Students' Union website.
