Your Global Opportunities

Your Global Opportunities

Seize the opportunity to expand your global outlook. Whether it be working or studying oversees or embracing the many multicultural activities in Newcastle, these life changing experiences can help to broaden your career opportunities

Year-long Study

How can you stand out from a crowd of nearly a third of a million graduates when applying for graduate jobs?

Spending a year studying or working overseas can be a life changing experience. Immersing yourself in another culture will help you learn more about yourself and help you develop your personal skills. It will also help you develop and deepen your understanding of the academic subject which you are studying. Studying abroad gives you the opportunity to work and live with people from across the world while building your international networks and enhancing your global perspective. We have opportunities for our students to study abroad and for students from other countries to study with us.

Summer Schools

Summer Schools 2020

International Summer School programmes overseas are an opportunity for you to do a short study placement typically lasting from two to four weeks. Summer Schools provide an opportunity for you to meet other students and create an international network of friends. Participants come from all over the world and have different cultural and academic backgrounds.

Summer 2020: Opportunities available in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden.

The Business School sometimes receives news of free summer school tuition places from partner universities - you would just need to pay for your travel, accommodation and subsistence. The opportunities available vary from year to year. There are also self-funded opportunities at many universities throughout the world including a range of European countries and further afield.

Please read our brochure for details of summer school places available in summer 2020. Summer Schools 2020 Brochure

Gain an insight into what it’s like to work in a virtual team, something which global employers will require you to do on a daily basis.
