Newcastle University Business School's Equality and Diversity Committee are pleased to present the first in a series of seminars exploring issues of equality and diversity.
The first seminar is focused on gender and the afternoon will include presentations from staff and students on issues of gender equality in a range of workplace environments, including how our Business School is seeking to achieve greater gender equality across all of our work.
The afternoon will feature a keynote presentation from Hazel Conley, Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of the West of England. Hazel will be speaking on her work on gender equality in public services - Positive about Equality Putting the Public Sector Equality Duty into Practice.
The event is open to all Newcastle University communities, including staff and students, and all colleagues outside of the university with an interest in workplace equality and diversity issues.
Refreshments will be available.
