Since graduating, what have you gone on to do?
After graduating, I started to work with NICD on a data analysis project. I learned a lot about how data works. since then I am working with an energy company as Digital Marketing Executive (as a part-time job). It helped me to learn more and more about sustainability and PR.
Is that what you planned to do before starting university?
I had no idea what wanted to do but I know I wanted to have experience in the area.
What was your favourite thing about your course?
I loved all the classes, mostly Technology Change and Innovation Management , Competing with IT, Digital Start-up with Lean Innovation. Topics in these classes were fascinating and they always covered the innovation and creativity part.
Were you involved in any other extra curriculum activities or societies during your time here?
I have worked with NCL on a website development project, that helped me understand how the University operates. During the summer before graduation, when I was working on my dissertation I started working with a start-up as a Brand Marketeer. During that time I learned a lot about how marketing works and how I can use what I studied in real life. Also, I learned to produce podcasts, design documents and market strategic planning. I am still using those skills.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
PolyBox grows and we are known in the UK and a digital company.
What one piece of advice would you give to a student who wants to work in your industry?
Take the classes seriously, it’s a special experience.
