This live presentation will introduce the 'Business in Action' module, designed to help you develop consultancy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Through this immersive experience, you’ll work in teams to investigate and analyse real-world challenges faced by business leaders. It takes place at the end of semester one - can you meet the brief?

About the host

Jo Clark is Director of Student Recruitment and deputy Degree Programme Director for MSc Global Human Resources Management (GHRM) at Newcastle University Business School.

With a background in Economics from Newcastle University and a postgraduate diploma in European Financial Analysis, Jo began her career as a Parliamentary Analyst at the London Stock Exchange. She later qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) while working at BT, gaining experience in financial planning and internal consultancy roles at both BT and BUPA. Her research interests include high-performing teams in complex environments,
