Accessible learning through dance hits

TheoryHub’s Dance Hits is an experimental initiative that uses generative AI to create music tracks inspired by well-known business theories. The project explores how alternative media formats can support student engagement and understanding, while also demonstrating practical applications of emerging AI technologies within learning and teaching.

Recognition by QS Reimagine Education

The QS Reimagine Education Awards recognise innovative approaches that enhance learning outcomes, strengthen employability, and advance sustainability education. The theme of the 12th annual conference, held between 1 and 3 December 2025, was “Mind the Gap – It’s Getting Wider”. It highlighted the widening divide in how institutions respond to emerging challenges and opportunities.

The awards, which were celebrated and announced during the conference, rewarded the most pioneering pedagogical approaches that enhance learning outcomes, improve employability, and advance sustainability education.

TheoryHub’s shortlisting reflects its contribution to developing new, accessible ways for learners to engage with theoretical material, and its alignment with sector-wide efforts to apply AI thoughtfully within education.

Reflecting on his shortlisting and recognition, Professor Papagiannidis said: “Being shortlisted affirms the value of experimenting with creative forms of scholarship. TheoryHub’s Dance Hits shows that when imagination meets rigorous inquiry, learners can approach complex ideas with fresh curiosity and genuine enjoyment.”
