Background
I am a teaching assistant and lecturer in the School of Computing at Newcastle University.
Teaching
I teach on the following modules:
- CSC1032: Computer Systems Design and Architectures (2022)
- CSC8428: Software Design Lifecycle (2022)
- CSC8406 Object Oriented Programming (2023-)
- CSC8018 Web Technologies (2023-)
I also supervise on MSc projects and dissertation (CSC8499, CSC8099).
Research
My research background is in computational modelling in biology, in particular, agent-based modelling using tools such as BioDynaMo and NUFEB.
My current research topic is on 3D computational modelling of epidermal homeostasis and psoriasis development. The model explores how the epidermis forms and how immune cytokine stimuli causes psoriasis to develop and changes the epidermal structure.
