Developing a wellbeing garden to support student transition from Primary to Secondary School
Design and Technology staff at a secondary school in the UK, used the Diamond Ranking tool with small groups of Year 7 students (aged 11/12 years) who had recently moved from their primary school and were struggling to settle in. The tool was chosen as part of a project to develop an outdoor space as a wellbeing garden, specifically because it encourages talk and idea generation.
