Consulting documentation and reporting
Once you have had your Newcastle University IT account enabled you will be added as a user to Canvas, our VLE. The School will add you to the relevant courses in Canvas. Canvas Guidance for External Examiners is available to support you consulting modules in Canvas.
Guidance for External Examiners on using the online submission system to submit your report is available. The database itself can be accessed here: https://apps.ncl.ac.uk/examiners.
An example template with the sections and questions you will be asked to complete in the database can be consulted: EE Reporting Template.
Fees and Expenses
The Guidance for External Examiners has a section on expenses and details how to submit expenses through the expenses tab in the external examiner system. Information relating to your fees and expenses can be consulted on the Exams website (at the very bottom of the page). For enquiries or help, please contact exams@ncl.ac.uk.
