Introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what you've done since graduating

After graduation, I worked in a Cambridge-based translation agency for about 5 years. I began as a Language Expert, then became a Project Manager, and finally an Account Manager for key clients.

Since then, I have moved to a top internet company in Shanghai as a Localisation Project Manager. I'm now responsible for leading a multi-language team of linguists and AI trainers.

Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University?

The course helped me build transferable skills. The courses prepared by the Careers Centre were especially good in this respect!

What did you enjoy most about your time at Newcastle University?

Hanging out with friends who were studying different courses outside of the School of Modern Languages.
