Introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what you've done since graduating

Since graduating, I've worked in France and China in lots of different fields, such as HR, marketing, accounting and recruitment.

I completed my PGCE at Newcastle University and now teach French, German and Mandarin at a local independent school.

Why did you choose to study at Newcastle University?

I loved the city as soon as I arrived, especially the wonderful architecture, friendly people and convenient public transport. The course offered by the university was flexible and gave me a massive amount of choice in which modules I could study.

How do you think your course prepared you for your chosen career?

My course has dictated my life and I couldn't have had any of the amazing adventures I've had without it!

What did you enjoy most about your time at Newcastle University?

The interesting lectures, seminars and meeting like-minded students.
