Want to improve your language skills or try a completely new language?

The School of Modern Languages is now accepting applications from staff for the University-Wide Language Programme (UWLP).

Through the UWLP, you can learn one of the following languages:
 
•    Arabic
•    British Sign Language (BSL)
•    Chinese
•    Dutch
•    French
•    German
•    Italian
•    Japanese
•    Korean
•    Portuguese
•    Russian
•    Spanish

Course Fee

£99 per course

Class dates and times

Classes take place after 5pm and on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Please check the timetable to see when different levels are planned, and whether they fit around your existing commitments. This is a provisional timetable. Your exact class time will be confirmed once your place is allocated.

How to apply

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To express your interest, please complete the application form or email uwlp@ncl.ac.uk. Once we receive your application, we’ll send you further details.
