Chair in Town Planning
Congratulations to Professor Simin Davoudi, now the 6th holder of the prestigious and historic Chair in Town Planning title in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape at Newcastle University. She follows other eminent planning scholars, including Professors Mark Tewdwr Jones, Jean Hillier and Patsy Healey. Through this role, Simin will continue her commitment to the planning project as a thriving discipline and a value-driven profession, supporting the school's long-standing contribution to planning education, research and engagement.
