Planning & Development in the UK is ripe for disruption. Throughout the pandemic, the team at PlaceChangers supported the resilience of the planning sector. Based on Newcastle, the team around founders Sebastian Weise and Alex Moon applied their two decades in town planning and software engineering to enable powerful interactive consultations for projects large and small. Citizens benefit from an accessible visual consultation method while planners enjoy more detailed feedback and time savings. In addition, the team successfully released a new innovative tool that enables design teams analyse health issues near their sites and to build back better.
