Dan is an integral part of the Faulkner Brown residential and commercial teams, with over 15 years of experience designing and delivering office, education and housing projects.
Dan leads the postgraduate 'Material Change' and ‘Studio FBA’ studios in our School at Newcastle University, and has been a visiting critic at The University of Bath and the University of East London.
In this article he discusses how the Material Change studio has been focussing on teaching adaptive reuse and taking the climate crisis as its centre challenge.
