PWC's Flying Start Bursary

The Flying Start financial bursary is available to students applying to our Business Accounting and Finance with work placements BSc. It is aimed at supporting students from lower socio-economic backgrounds with the day-to-day costs of university life.

£10,000, to support students from lower socio-economic backgrounds with the day-to-day costs of university life.

Number of awards available

This will be limited to 10 people per year. Application is required.

Start date and duration

September 2026, split across four years of the degree.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these this bursary you must:

  • have ‘Home Funding’ status, which means you’re living in the UK or Republic of Ireland, and EU nationals with settled status in the UK
  • have applied to study on the Business Accounting and Finance with work placements BSc Honours (Flying Start) degree programme (and subsequently successfully start on the programme in September 2026)
  • have a household income of less than £35,000 per annum as assessed by Student Finance (this will be assessed once you are accepted onto the degree programme and apply to Student Finance)
  • be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in Audit at PwC during the assessment process
  • have attended a non-fee paying school
