Staff Profile

Eddie is working on developing his master’s dissertation into a research paper focusing on privacy-enhancing hardware technologies, specifically novel mechanisms for reliable privacy control and indication in microphone-enabled devices.

Eddie holds an MComp in Computer Science (Cyber Security) from Newcastle University, and is a Security Engineer at ThreatSpike Labs. He served as president of NUSU’s Cyber Society from 2022 to 2024.

Eddie's research interests include privacy-enhancing hardware technologies, tangible privacy, and embedded systems security.
