Eat the View: Phases I and II
The main aim of Eat the View (ETV) was to promote sustainable local produce.

There were four main objectives to the initiative:
- Increase consumer awareness of purchased products and the countryside
 - Increase demand for local/regional sustainable products
 - Increase marketing opportunities for producers through promoting landscape
 - Increase sustainable land management practices
 
To date, research has been undertaken on:
- Farmers' Markets
 - Publicity follow-up (Journal’s Pride of North Article)
 - North East Food Fair (Seahouses, Northumberland)
 - North East hospitality sector, including a study into regional food groups as a mechanism for fulfilling ETV objectives.
