Creative and Cultural Industries Experience Day

Give your students the chance to immerse themselves in the creative disciplines at the School of Arts and Cultures.

Our Experience Day invites school groups between Year 10 – Year 12 to explore what it’s really like to study Journalism and Media, Film, Music or Fine Art at university.

Students will take part in interactive taster sessions led by our staff, designed to spark curiosity and build confidence in their desired subject area.

Throughout the day, our student ambassadors will offer guided tours of specialist facilities and the wider campus, sharing their own experiences of studying at Newcastle. 

Alongside the student activities, we may be able to offer dedicated CPD sessions for teachers who attend, providing fresh insights, practical resources and subject-specific development opportunities. 

We welcome schools from across the region to join us for an inspiring, informative day.
