Staff Profile

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Languages from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish and Catalan as Second Languages from the University of Girona. Currently, I am a Lecturer in Catalan Studies, where I teach language modules, including Introduction to Catalan and Intermediate Catalan, as well as a cultural module titled Food, Football, and Fiction: Constructing Catalan Cultural Identity. I am also pursuing a PhD on inclusion and diversity in foreign language education, titled Inclusion and Representation in Foreign Language Teaching: Gender, Race, and Sexuality in the Catalan Classroom in the UK.
