The Ballad of Mulan was successfully held at Newcastle University's Cultural Festival
On March 20th, The Ballad of Mulan, the exclusive performance of the Festival of Culture 2023, was successfully held in the Venue stage of Newcastle University. The show was sponsored by the Confucius Institute at Newcastle University and was launched by the renowned Red Dragonfly Performance Troupe touring around the UK. The performance showcased the inspiring life story of Mulan, a renowned Chinese female warrior, and moved the audience with Mulan’s courage, intelligence and perseverance.
The success of The Ballad of Mulan kicks off a series of Chinese cultural activities provided by the Confucius Institute at Newcastle University that aims to enrich the cultural diversity and intercultural exchange of not only Newcastle University but also the local community.
