Dr Ana Lopes is Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Newcastle University Business School. Together with Dr Elina Meliou (Aston University), she is carrying out the project ‘Academic profession, contingent employment and career pathways during a crisis’, funded by the Society for Research on Higher Education. The research explores the career pathways of academics in contingent employment (on temporary or casual contracts) during the Covid-19 crisis.
