CESI Bootcamp: Uncertainty in Energy Modelling
We're pleased to announce that the next CESI Bootcamp will be on Uncertainty in Energy Modelling.
Date/Time: Mon 22nd and Tues 23rd January 2018
Venue: Newcastle Science Central - Urban Sciences Building
This 2-day event is open to CESI Researchers, Academics and by invitation only. The programme and joining instructions will be provided closer to the date, but will include:
Uncertainty in Energy Modelling Tutorial Day
Monday 22 January 2018, 10:00-17:00
Of particular interest to CESI Researchers and PhD students, but also open to all CESI academics. Tutorials presentations are planned on statistical uncertainty quantification, system planning under uncertainty, expert elicitation, and social science perspectives on modelling.
CESI Work Packages and Uncertainty in Energy Modelling
Tuesday 23 January 2018, 09:00-16:00
Of particular interest to those working on CESI Models, but open to all CESI academics, researchers and PhD students. The second day will consist of scoping discussions on collaboration within CESI, covering both technical modelling and social science perspectives. We also hope to have a guest speaker from industrial or government collaborators to add a further dimension to scoping discussions.
