The Willow Trio

Join the Glasgow-based clàrsach trio for a performance of their new work, The Swan of Salen, a folk ballet created in collaboration with Ballet Folk and Thistle Ridge Films.  An adaptation of Tchaikovsky's iconic Swan Lake, retold through the lens of the Gaelic tale of Eala Shàilein, it blends traditional music from the Loch Sunart area with the classical score.  This performace features a film of the ballet, projected behind the three harpists perfoprming a live-synced score.
