Logging in

You can access the system at https://newcastle.la.jisc.ac.uk/ and login using your normal university email address and password.

Module summary

In the Module summary page you can find out more information about your engagement on that module, including your overall module engagement, attendance, Canvas activity and submissions.

Module engagement

The Module engagement summary metric shows your lecture attendance, Canvas activity and assignment submissions over the past 14 days for this modules.

You can find out more about how metrics are calculated here.

Attendance 

Your Attendance panels allow you to view your attendance across the module, including attendance over the last 14 days, as well as historic attendance over the last six weeks, three months and six months.

Scrolling down the page will provide you with more historic attendance data for the module.

Canvas activity

The Canvas activity panels allow you to view your Canvas engagement across the module, including attendance over the last 14 days, as well as historic attendance over the last six weeks, three months and six months.

Submissions

The Submissions panels allow you to view your assessment submissions across the module, including on time and late submissions over the last 14 days, as well as historic submissions over the last six weeks, three months and six months.
