INTO Newcastle University

If you're an international student and want support for academic English, the INTO in-sessional programme might be suitable for you.

How can they help?

INTO Newcastle University have a programme of English support for students whose first language is not English, which runs alongside degree programmes.

The purpose of the in-sessional support is to help you use the English language to effectively communicate knowledge in your academic studies.

You can access writing and reading support and one-to-one writing tutorials. We also deliver listening and speaking support through lectures and workshops. All students whose first language is not English are eligible to register for these classes.

What do you need to know?

You can attend up to eight hours of taught classes, and this support is free.

One-to-one tutorials are student-directed and are not a proof-reading service.
