Co-Director of the Landscape Centre of Research appointed to Defra working group.

28 February 2022

Co-Director of the Landscape Centre of Research, Maggie Roe, has been appointed to Defra’s Environment Land Management working group.

Beginning in March, the short-term flexible expertise group will help address Defra’s Environmental Land Management policy questions. It will generate evidence to understand the feasibility of land management actions being considered for Environmental Land Management (E.L.M.) schemes, both when considered individually and when grouped into Options for the Local Nature Recovery scheme (LNR) and Standards for the Sustainable Farming Incentive scheme (SFI).  The envisaged impact is to inform which land management actions should be considered in E.L.M. schemes.
