University Funding and Scholarship
Alongside support from external practices and trusts we are able to offer a variety of bursaries to help finance your undergraduate studies.
We are pleased to announce that the architect firm Rogers Stirk Habour and Partners will fund two £5,000 bursaries in the 2021/2022 academic year. These bursaries will be awarded to students from Stage 2 and Stage 3 currently studying on the K100 BA Architecture programme.
Eligibility
Candidates for the scholarship will be in their 2nd and 3rd year of the BA Architecture degree. You must not be in receipt of any other scholarships, bursaries or additional financial support (excluding the Student Financial Support Fund and the Financial Assistance Fund), and will have applied for all student finance that is available to you.
Deadline

Application Details
The University is proud to be working with Blueprint for All to give young people of diverse ethnic heritage the opportunity to enter to architectual industry. Students on the scheme will have their fees waived for their three-year undergraduate study. Following receipt of an offer to study architecture at Newcastle University, students will be invited to complete an application form for submission to Hania Klepacka (hania.klepacka@newcastle.ac.uk) before the deadline on the 3rd June 2022.

Gavin Eldred (1965 - 2017) earned his degree in Architecture at Newcastle University. He then became a Director at PLP Architecture in London. In his honour, PLP Architecture will offer a bursary in the amount of £2,500 to one student, to encourage the study of Architecture. The bursary will be awarded in four consecutive years to four different students.
The bursary is available to current Newcastle University Architecture students in their second year of the study. The bursary will be awarded at the start of the student's third year.
Application deadline Friday 25th March 2022.
