Part of the Brexit Insights Series with Dr Michael Lloyd
Date/Time: Thursday 19 October, 14:00 - 15:00
Venue: Room 1.11, Newcastle University Business School
Dr Michael Loyd will attempt to sum up where the two parties are, or believe they are, in progressing their policy and transactional agendas; not all of which may be clear, in some cases deliberately so.
This lecture is the first in a series of events that will provide continuous insight into the positions and motivations of the two principal actors involved in the Brexit process, the EU 27, via the European Commission and European Parliament, representing the governments of the EU 27. The lectures will centre on the progress being made, or not being made, in the Article 50 process and dialogue.
Dr Michael Lloyd, visiting fellow in economics, has considerable EU political and economic experience, both working within and outside the two main EU institutions, the European Commission and the European Parliament.
