Donald Halliday was born in the Highlands of Scotland and studied Accounting and Economics at Edinburgh University.

After teaching roles in Edinburgh and London he joined Northumbria University and became Programme Director for Accounting, Financial Services and Economics.

Donald is an Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants.

Donald's interests include music, technology (in particular audio and video) and wildlife.
