I joined Newcastle University Business School in September 2026 as a Lecturer in Economics. My research lies at the intersection of political economy, public economics, and economic geography, with a particular focus on the local effects of public policies, regional development, and political and institutional outcomes. Prior to joining Newcastle, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics. I received my PhD in Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
