I'm the Marketing Manager at Newcastle University Business School.

I oversee a team of marketing and digital experts who are responsible for generating awareness of School activities and successes - internally and externally - across the full student journey, as well as brand and reputation.

I have over 10 years of marketing experience, predominantly within the education sector.

Roles and responsibilities

My role within the Marketing Team is to lead the direction of the team and new initiatives to support the work we do. Activity which I'm directly responsible for includes:

• Team planning and strategies
• Brand management for the School
• Budget management
• Brand awareness activities, ranging from student recruitment to research and reputation
• Project management for high profile School activity
• Market research to inform direction of the team and activities
• Student recruitment marketing
• Content and copy creation for a range of audiences and platforms
• Creating collateral for key audiences, such as the School's prospectuses

Qualifications and certificates

• BA Hons in Marketing, University of Sunderland
• Marketing Strategy (CPD certified), Fabric Academy
